Men's Eyeglasses Inspiration

I have bad vision. Not terrible, but bad enough that if I'm not wearing my contacts, I can't see faces or anything clearly that's more than a foot in front of me. I wear my contacts all the time, but take them out an hour or so before bed a few times per week if my eyes are tired. But when I do that, I look lame. I still have the first pair of glasses I ever got, back from when I was in high school. They are small frames and Morgan says they are grandpa glasses. Plus, they have a small crack in one lens and they are my original prescription.

So, I need to get a new pair. I'm not a hipster, so I don't want to get hipster glasses, but I do want to get some trendy ones. I want to be able to wear my glasses for an entire day and not be embarrassed with the way I look. Let's take a look at a couple pairs and see what I might get.

This Ames frame from Warby Parker are interesting. They might be beyond my comfort level, but I like their color and retro look of the plastic with the bottom of the frames open.

These Essential Eyewear frames from Lenscrafters look very manly to me. The black and brown looks like a stereotypical man, but I'm afraid they might be better on an older guy than me.

These Ray Bans look pretty trendy to me, but they aren't hipster, which is what I was going for. These are a lot like the frames from Warby Parker, with the open bottom, but are a little more round. I like them.

I like these frames from Ralph Lauren, but they might be too futuristic for me. I like their light color and the round eyes are nice, but I'm not sure how they would look on me.

I found this website called www.39dollarframes.com, which has these frames for... $39! Pretty good price, considering the ones I looked at at the eye doctor were an average of $240 each. Overall, I really like the look of these frames. The color, the style, everything. But $39, are they going to fall apart?

I think I'm currently leaning toward getting something from Warby Parker or 39dollarframes.com. I'm still thinking about it, but I want something that won't cost too much, since I don't wear them much, but also stylish and functional.

Which ones should I go with?
