Tour our indoor and outdoor Halloween decor for 2024!
We love decorating for Halloween! Every year we re-use a lot of decor but arrange it in new ways – and do new DIYs to add to our collection!
Here is this year’s Halloween home tour!
Tour Our 2024 Halloween Decor
Here’s how we decorated our home for Halloween this year!
Halloween Mantel Decor
I decided to re-use my DIY carnivorous plants on the mantel again – because I love them so much! They include:
We also set up our tomato cage ghosts and tomato cage cat and dog in front of the fireplace. So spooky!
Halloween buffet table
I also styled the buffet table next to our kitchen table with lots of Halloween crafts. It holds:
- Tattooed candles
- Candy corn candle holder
- Bent candle ghosts
- Dripping blood candlesticks
- Spiderweb lantern
- Ghost handprints
- Paper bag faux leaves
- Fall leaf table runner
- Pumpkin vase
- Pumpkin candlesticks
Colorful Spooky Shelves
I also styled the shelves in our guest room with a colorful Halloween aesthetic.
This includes:
And lots of accessories! See all the details on these shelves here!
Floating Candle Entryway
I am obsessed with how the hanging candles in our entryway turned out. They’ve been hanging since August and are still going strong.
Such as easy way to make a big impact in your home – and very chic, too!
Outdoor Decor
The main feature of our front yard decor are all of the skeletons posed to be doing olympic sports! You can read our best tips for posing skeletons, but it mostly comes down to rebar zip tied to the spine!
We also built a quick and easy podium so we could have our medal finishers showing off their hardware!
We once again decorated the steps up to our front door with tons of plastic pumpkins. We strung string lights across so they glow!
We also used zip ties to attach our DIY Ball Spider to the sides of the stair railing!
Our upper porch is wrapped in a DIY pumpkin pail light up garland and is home to our DIY PVC skeleton man!
Over the door, we hung a spook Olympic Rings symbol, to make the theme extra obvious. This was something Sean cut out of 1/4″ plywood with his laser cutter and painted.
We added an inflatable pumpkin stack on either side of the garage door.
On the door itself, we have our DIY magnetic spiders and bat magnets, which were my favorite new Halloween find this year – so easy!
We added a mini skeleton on the kids basketball goal and a dog skeleton with the mini basketball in his mouth. We set up the balance beam and posed a skeleton tumbling down it.
And, we posed a skeleton playing golf with a doggie helper (and the flag from our kids bike trailer as the golf flag).
Happy Halloween!
