Can you believe that November is already over? It seems like the second half of this year has flown by in the blink of an eye. We’ve been busy trying to get things done before the holidays, but from here through the end of the year are going to be 99% Christmas focused. So, look forward to a lot of festive posts coming up on the blog!
If you’re behind, here’s what you missed:
In the condo:
I turned an old Lilly planner into a cute framable calendar! I can’t wait to switch it to December tomorrow!
I am so excited to have made over the laundry room! We painted it pink and installed all new shelving and decor – be sure to check it out!
I played with some accessories on the living room side table before settling on some simple new styling.
Sean built an awesome new work table – from a free pallet!
I dipped a wooden bowl and turned it into a cactus garden! And it’s still alive! A surprisingly good sign, believe it or not!
I made a super easy no-sew infinity scarf from an old thermal shirt.
We updated the hallway with some easy DIY sea shell frames.
I tried to make a crystal lamp – and failed in an amazing way.
In the kitchen:
I turned my favorite topping combination into a yummy salad – BBQ Chicken Salad!
I made a twist on a classic with Reese’s Puff Treat bars.
Thanksgiving:
I went on a rant against “skipping” Thanksgiving!
We made three fun takes on Thanksgiving leftovers – Cranberry Chicken, Burritos, and Salads!
We shared what we are thankful for – and there is so much!
Around Charleston:
We went for a sunset walk at Folly Beach County Park. It’s not much since it washed away, but you don’t need much to enjoy a beautiful sunset!
What we’re reading:
I reviewed The Fault in Our Stars – I loved it! Be sure to check it out!
Feeling Pinspired:
I am obsessed with the show Revenge and have recently become enthralled with their coastal chic decor. Check it out and see some of my pics to recreate it in your home!
