Want to decorate for Easter? Here is the Easter yard decor that we put up this year to delight the neighborhood kids - and our own, of course!
This year my goal is to really lean into things that bring me joy and light me up and excite my family.
One of those things has been decorating for every little holiday.
My kids especially love putting a big tacky inflatable in the yard any chance they can get.
I decided to do a whole yard display for Easter this year. This is not something we've ever done before, but the kids were asking for it, and honestly, why not?
While I did fill our yard, it is a very small space, and didn't take too much to make it feel really special.
Here's what I did!

Our fun and festive Easter yard decor!
Here's how we decorated our yard for Easter!
Inflatable Bunny & Giant Easter Basket
The centerpiece of our Easter yard decor is definitely the giant bunny and Easter basket.
The bunny is an inflatable – you can get it here. My kids have been going so wild for inflatables, and I love that they store so small which makes it easy to get one for every holiday.
On the other end of that spectrum is this giant pool noodle Easter basket that we made.
I honestly have no idea where we are going to store it, but it was pretty easy to make, and make such a fun statement.
We have so many kids and families walk by our house and compliment this basket, I'm so glad we made it!
Carrot Patch
Another one of the most eye-catching elements in our yard is definitely the carrot patch.
These are made from a little orange sports cones and green faux gass picks.
You can read the whole DIY carrot patch tutorial here!
I love that these are so quick and easy to make and because we did 20 of them it really makes a big impact
Wooden Peeps
Sean also made a bunch of wooden peeps for the yard.
He cut them with his laser cutter, spray painted them, added a wooden stake to the back, and then painted on a little faces. Super simple, but so fun and cute.
We don't have a blog post on these, but you can watch a video of him making them here.
Egg topiaries
So they aren't prominent down here in our front yard but at the top of the stairs we do have are two extra large Easter egg topiaries.
See how we made the DIY Easter egg topiaries!
I toyed with having these at the bottom of the stairs, but I really do like them at the top.
These were so easy to make and look so cute. I also love that when it comes down, I can take the eggs apart and store them in each other really easily without taking up too much space.
We use the same base that we use for our pumpkin topiaries at Halloween, so it was great to put these to use another time in the year.
Other fun!
There are a few other, minor Easter decorations in our yard.
I hung Easter eggs from the tree. I've had those forever and ever but they are a cute touch. I actually toyed with ordering giant inflatable ones but after our inflatable Christmas ornaments blew away, decided not to bother.
We had some wooden bunnies that our kids painted when they were toddlers, and Sean sprayed with outdoor sealant and we put those out every year.
I also have my little green bunny wreath on the front door. So many fun extra touches!
