We’re excited to tell you all about their brand new cutting solution, the Kreg Crosscut Station.
This Kreg Crosscut Station review will give you all the information you need to know about this simple cutting solution to help you make easy, accurate cuts with just a circular saw.
Kreg Tool Crosscut Station
The Kreg Crosscut Station is the perfect solution for people whose only saw is a circular saw. A circular saw is one of the more common tools for people who don’t do as much cutting, but they still need accuracy.
The Crosscut Station will help anyone who doesn’t have a miter saw make perfectly straight 90 degree and 45 degree cuts.

What is the Kreg Tool Crosscut Station?
The Kreg Crosscut Station is essentially a miter box for circular saws.
The Crosscut Station uses adjustable guide rails to perfectly fit your circular saw. These guide rails give you accurate cuts by keeping your circular saw perfectly straight.
We love that it’s a quick, handy tool to make sure your circular saw cuts are straight. It also provides many different angles and is very sturdy.
What do I use the Kreg Tool Crosscut Station for?
The Kreg Crosscut Station is used with a circular saw to cut boards in place of a miter saw. If you don’t have a miter saw or are working in the backyard with your circular saw, the Crosscut Station is perfect for you.
You can use the the Crosscut Station to make any cuts you need, and it’s perfect for using on the go.
The Crosscut Station is also great if you aren’t very confident with using larger saws like a miter saw or table saw. Morgan doesn’t love using the huge 12″ miter saw we have and feels much more confident using the Crosscut Station to make small cuts.
How do I use the Kreg Tool Crosscut Station?
The Crosscut Station is super easy to use. After setting it up, everything will be in place for your first cuts.
To use the Kreg Crosscut Station, you position your board against the back fence and clamp it into place with the onboard clamps.
Then, place your circular saw on the two guide rails, turn it on, and push it through the wood.
If you want to cut your board at an angle, you can use the provided adjustable fence to set the angle you want, place the board against that, and push the saw through the wood.
The Crosscut Station also has two wings that swing out to accommodate longer pieces of wood for extra stability.
What are the pros of the Kreg Tool Crosscut Station?
The pros of the Kreg Crosscut Station are that you can cut any angles you want using a circular saw instead of a miter saw.
The Crosscut Station makes it very user-friendly to use a circular saw to do projects and be confident that the cuts are accurate.
Another huge pro of the Crosscut Station is that you can cut pieces wider than most miter saws will accept. The Crosscut Station is big enough to fit a 12″ wide board, which most miter saws can’t cut.
If you aren’t confident in using a miter saw, or don’t have one at all, the Kreg Crosscut Station would be perfect for you.
What are the cons of the Kreg Tool Crosscut Station?
There aren’t many negatives about the Crosscut Station for the value it brings. The wings that swing out aren’t super smooth to pull out or push back in, making me feel like I might be breaking them when I do it, but there doesn’t seem to be a way that would happen.
I also had a slight issue with the initial setup of the guide rails for my circular saw. I made them too tight, so the saw didn’t slide smoothly. It just took a little figuring out to get it right.
How to I assemble the Kreg Tool Crosscut Station?
Of all the new Kreg products, the Crosscut Station requires the most assembly. Each piece has to be screwed together.
The back and front fences are screwed onto the main base first, then the guide rails are attached.
You need to set the guide rails depending on your circular saw so that it slides smoothly and is cutting in the middle of the Crosscut Station.
Also, you’ll need to make a cut through the Crosscut Station before first use. Yes, you have to put two cuts in your brand new tool.
The cuts through the front and back fence should only be made when your setup is complete. These cuts will allow for your saw to go all the way through the wood, no matter how wide. The lines will also help you align where future cuts will be on your wood.
Where do I buy the Kreg Tool Crosscut Station?
The Kreg Crosscut Station costs $59.99 and is available online and in-store at places like Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon and, of course, KregTool.com.
