Also, I tried to choose projects that did not take too long to make. Time is money, and if a project takes you hours to build, you’re eating into the profit significantly!
How do I price wood projects to sell?
You generally want to aim to make a profit of 30% on your woodworking projects. Track all of your costs – materials and supplies – and your time. Apply a value to that time and add that to the material costs. Don’t forget listing fees or any other costs to sell it.
Divide this total amount by 0.7 to get your price with a 30% profit margin!
