It’s really officially feeling like summer around here. I was so excited to be invited to link up with some blogger friends and share our summer mantels! You might remember that I went greenery crazy for my spring mantel! (Those candlesticks sold but I have a lot more available in my Etsy shop!) For my summer refresh, I decided that I wanted more of a summertime tropical feel.
These are all palm leaves that I gathered around the neighborhood. I just love the lush tropical feel. CiCi is less impressed 🙂 The driftwood is from my garage hoardstash.
I have really been enjoying challenging myself to use live greenery. It is outside my comfort zone (I tend to veer more towards hydrangeas in a mason jar) but it has been so good for me and is really opening up my brain to loads of good ideas!
If you are interested – here is the tutorial on how we took our basic mantel to the ceiling and here is my mantels pinterest board.
You can see all of our favorite inexpensive mantel decor ideas here!
