Want to build something for the baby in your life? Here are a ton of ideas and tutorials for woodworking projects for babies!
Having a baby – or grand baby – is such an exciting moment. If you are a maker, it totally makes sense that you would want to gift the baby with something homemade.
When I was pregnant with our first child, both Sean and I went wild making things for him. I did a lot of sewing for the nursery (and I’m not typically a big sewer!) and Sean built a crib from scratch – his first ever big build and design.

Whether you yourself are having a baby, or you are looking for a gift to make for someone having a baby, a woodworking build is a great idea.
Some ideas of woodworking projects you can build for babies:
- cribs
- changing tables
- wooden toys
- play pen
- wall mounted growth chart
